CACI is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide customer technical support, systems sustainment, and cross domain functions supporting on-site at Engineering & Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, C5ISR Center on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
• Support Linux based software monitoring and maintain systems application software running under Linux
• Maintain and implement security procedures and protocols governing network operations per regulations.
• Controls access permissions and privileges. Ensures that storage and archiving procedures are implemented and functioning correctly.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
• Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
Lead IT projects, demonstrating a strong grasp of technical basics
• Proactively identify potential technical challenges and make strategic decisions to mitigate or resolve issues
• Effectively communicate progress and updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction with IT solutions and services.
Required Skills:
• Active TS/SCI and ability to obtain CI Poly
• Possess ability to setup, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain of the following Linux operating systems: Red Hat, Ubuntu, Centos, Linux Mint
• Knowledge of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ASAC), Security Compliance Checker (SCC), Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), and McAfee.
• BA/BS (preferable Computer Science, Information Technology) with 3 years’ experience or Associates degree plus 6yrs experience or High School and plus 8yrs experience.
• Must possess the necessary training and certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M.
• Must be familiar with Linux Infrastructure hardening to DISA STIG specifications
• Candidates must be able to remain compliant according to the IAW AR 25-2 Chapter 3 and DOD 8570.01-M.
• Certified CompTIA Security+ or obtained within 60 days of start
