As a Parts Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the parts department by providing exceptional customer service, processing parts orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery. Your strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction will contribute to the overall success of our parts operations.Responsibilities:* Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for their specific needs, providing accurate and detailed product information, and recommending suitable alternatives when necessary.* Process parts orders promptly and accurately, utilizing our inventory management system, to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery to customers.* Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.* Collaborate with the parts manager and other team members to ensure efficient inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts within the warehouse or storage area.* Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to maintain accurate stock levels.* Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that parts are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery information for parts not currently in stock, and communicate this information to customers promptly.* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the parts ordering and delivery process.* Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, promoting additional parts and accessories to customers to increase sales revenue.* Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and technological advancements in environmental equipment parts to provide accurate and informed assistance to customers.* Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
