Job Description
Information Technology Governance Program is a senior role within our customer’s organization, responsible for providing profound expertise in the establishment and sustainment of an Information Technology Governance Program. The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping our IT governance framework and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT governance program that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
Develop and refine IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency.
Ensure that IT governance practices align with the organization's strategic objectives, providing strategic guidance to executives and stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure the organization's IT practices remain compliant.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential IT risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation.
Analyze existing IT governance processes and systems, identifying areas for optimization and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee the development of metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the IT governance program.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on IT governance processes and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units to understand their IT needs, goals, and challenges, working towards aligning IT governance with these requirements.
Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to enhance staff understanding of IT governance principles and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and project management experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Education:
A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT Management, Information Security, Business Administration).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and ITIL are highly desirable.
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a public trust clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
