POSITION TITLE: Project Cost AccountantDEPARTMENT: Project Management & AccountingLOCATION: North New Jersey (Hackensack River Meadowlands in Bergen County)SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $75,000 annualJOB NUMBER: 2024-1324-01DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor (#4 in ENR in 2023) looking for a Project Accountant to support our large-scale remediation project for the next 3-5 years. This full-time position will be based at our project field office. The daily work will include:•Compiling and maintaining all daily, weekly and monthly job cost tracking reports•Maintaining cost forecasting reports and budget tracking•Compiling monthly billing vouchers•Manage all cost accounting related functionsSKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting. Experience in Construction Accounting is a big plus. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (with an emphasis on proficiency in Excel) and overall possess strong computer skills. SALARY/BENEFITS:An employee’s salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
