Job purposeThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing, publicrelations, and fundraising strategies to promote the school district, engage the community, andsupport our educational initiatives. This role will encompass various aspects of marketing,including social media, print media, digital signs, advertising, fundraising efforts, and also includesteaching a public relations or marketing class for one period per day.

Social Media Management:Manage and curate content for the school district's social media platforms.Create engaging and informative posts that highlight achievements, events, andimportant news.Monitor and respond to comments and messages from the community.Print Media and Advertising:Develop and coordinate the creation of print materials, such as brochures, flyers,and newsletters.Collaborate with local media outlets to place advertisements and press releases.Ensure branding consistency across all printed materials.Digital Signage:Oversee content for digital signs placed throughout the school district.Keep the signs updated with current information, announcements, and event details.Public Relations:Cultivate positive relationships with the community, parents, and local businesses.Coordinate and attend community events, meetings, and presentations to promote the school district's mission and initiatives.Fundraising:Work closely with school administrators to plan and execute fundraising campaigns.Utilize marketing strategies to promote and drive participation in fundraising events and initiatives.Teaching Responsibilities:Teach a public relations or marketing class for one period per day, delivering engaging and informative lessons to students.Develop and update the curriculum for the class, ensuring it aligns with current industry trends and standards.Analytics and Reporting:Monitor the effectiveness of marketing and public relations efforts.Provide regular reports on social media engagement, advertising impact, fundraising results, and student progress in the class.Working conditions
