Description:

　　The IT Coordinator (Audiovisual) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of audiovisual systems at the Hyatt Sofia Barcelona Hotel. The primary objective is to coordinate and manage the technological infrastructure related to audio and video to provide an exceptional experience for guests and facilitate internal events.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Audiovisual Systems Management:

　　Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio and video systems in conference rooms, events, and public areas of the hotel.

　　Ensure all audiovisual equipment is fully operational and meets quality standards.

　　Technical Support:

　　Provide technical assistance to internal and external users during events and conferences.

　　Resolve technical issues efficiently and provide guidance on the proper use of audiovisual equipment.

　　Event Coordination:

　　Collaborate closely with event organizers to understand their audiovisual requirements.

　　Supervise the setup and teardown of equipment for events, ensuring a seamless execution.

　　Technological Upgrades:

　　Stay informed about the latest trends and advances in audiovisual technology.

　　Recommend updates and improvements to equipment to ensure relevance and effectiveness of systems.

　　Interdepartmental Collaboration:

　　Coordinate with other departments, especially events and conferences, to ensure effective integration of audiovisual systems.

　　Provide training to employees on the proper use of equipment and technologies.

　　Inventory Management:

　　Maintain an up-to-date inventory of audiovisual equipment and accessories.

　　Coordinate with suppliers for the acquisition or repair of equipment as needed.

　　Qualifications:

　　Previous experience in similar roles, preferably in the hotel industry.

　　Solid knowledge of audio and video systems, projection, and related technologies.

　　Exceptional technical skills and ability to troubleshoot efficiently.

　　Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

　　Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

　　Availability to work flexible hours, including events and conferences outside regular hours.

　　Fluency in both English and Spanish.
