Job Purpose
The Engineering Intern will perform a variety of services.This includes, but not limited to data collection, updating policies, procedures, operating instructions, maintaining records, and providing project support.Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:Perform data collection and analysis in assigned areas.Assist in documenting processes and procedures.Provide support for Engineering projects.Conduct time and motion studies.Assist with Analyzing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing processes.Document test results, analyze test data, and develop internal presentations.
Competencies
Competencies:Knowledge of engineering principles, quality assurance, and safety protocols.Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, procedures, and operating instructions.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to analyze and interpret data.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Proficiency in mathematics, including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.Knowledge of computer networking and hardware.Knowledge of material handling systems and equipment.Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and procedures.
