TEKsystems is partnering with a local client in search of an Applications Administrator. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients with computer, hardware, and software issues, including coordinating on-site technical support with vendors. You will also respond to queries, diagnose, and isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. This role main responsibility will focus on Applications Management in-addition to supporting Service Desk tickets and supporting IT projects and initiatives.
Applications Management -Environment has over 165 unique applications, this role will be responsible to facilitate the maintenance, support, and upgrade of existing software applications and systems; facilitates and communicates upgrades, enhancements, and changes with vendors and internal customers. Troubleshoot and escalate software problems.
IT Service Desk- Monitor Service Now priority tickets, respond to solve or escalate 5-10 daily priority service tickets.
Project Management -Assist and lead IT related software related implementations, enhancements and upgrades.
Required Skills
• 3+ years’ experience of applications administration of 20+ applications
• 5+ years of providing technical support and management of ticketing systems.
• 3+ years of experience leading and or supporting IT projects.
• Experience managing all aspects of a PC workstation, server, and cloud service in a network environment.
• Knowledge of group policies, O365, Azure AD, Azure Cloud, Antivirus Software.
• Experience supporting the following systems: Exchange administration, SSO, MFA, Azure AD and conditional access, DNS, DHCP, Windows, and/or network administration.
• Hands‐on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
