About the Role

　　At Target Tech, engineering is central to everything we do: bringing our ideas to life and into the lives of our users. As Sr. Engineer iOS, you will be an integral player in the Target's Flagship app team based in Bangalore, India. With knowledge of the general mobile landscape, current user trends and preferences, and emerging technologies within the mobile engineering space, you will work alongside the product management team and cross-functional teams (Product Engineer, DevOps, Data, UX, Business, etc.) to develop robust, well-designed mobile apps. What you do every day will have an impact on millions on users using Target's mobile apps.

　　As part of this team, you will be building mobile solutions for Target's Loyalty program (Circles & RedCard), Deals and Discovery, Gift Registry, Order history and tracking, and many more spaces on Target's Flagship App. As part of this team, you will be always on latest tech stack. 　　What You Will Do

　　• Explore new technologies in the retail and mobile space.

　　• Be a significant code contributor, manage overall software development cycle, drive best practices and ensuring development of high-quality code.

　　• Establish standards and best practices for you and the team to deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

　　• Collaborate with Product and Design to establish and drive the product vision.

　　What You Will Need

　　• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

　　• 2+ years of experience in software design & development

　　• 1+ years of experience developing apps for iOS

　　• Experience developing in Swift and ability to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

　　• In-depth knowledge of native tools and frameworks (e.g., Swift, UIKit, Xcode, Instruments, etc.)

　　Experience with distributing mobile applications via public app stores and/or enterprise channels

　　• Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data using services (e.g., JSON, XML, REST APIs etc.)

　　• Good communicator and team player with strong organizational skills

　　• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.

　　• Amazing debugging skills with ability to write unit test cases.

　　• Common iOS architectures (MVC, MVVM, The Composable Architecture)

　　• Experience with SwiftUI.
