Description If you have an eagle eye for even the tiniest inconsistencies and errors, and can create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, you might be the right person for this position! In this position, you will handle a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity and is based in Midland, Texas.

What you get to do every single day

Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies

Gathering, sorting, and prioritizing data for computer entry

Completing additional tasks as needed

Assisting with data entry and additional administrative tasks

Continuing operations in accordance with policies and procedures; communicating needed changes

Following techniques and procedures for data program and meeting data entry requirements

Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials Requirements - Proficient with diversified computer software and systems

Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy

High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent obtained

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Project Cost experience

Construction Cost experience

Invoice Entry experience required

1+ years of applicable experience
