Inventory Project Specialist
Overview
The ideal Inventory Project Specialist candidate is an energetic, “roll up your sleeves” individual who can manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast paced, rapidly growing warehouse distribution environment. The specialist will work on a diverse set of projects including, but not limited to; inventory audits, shrink prevention, storage location analysis, and changing warehouse layout. A desire to take on new challenges and the flexibility to travel to multiple facilities to support company growth is a must. The Specialist is expected to have strong analytical and computer skills along with the ability to operate warehouse machinery such as fork lifts and order selectors. Attention to detail and the ability to focus in a fast paced environment is also a must.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a majority of workday tasks on your feet out in the warehouse
Cycle Count and monitor specific inventory categories for shrink
Work with Distribution Management team to conduct audits and ensure accuracy of inventory records, including receiving, pick/pack, and cycle count activities
Operate fork lifts and other warehouse machinery as necessary to perform assigned tasks and complete projects
Perform all other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in a distribution warehouse environment desired
Knowledge of Inventory Control concepts and practices is a plus
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Computer literate with experience using systems that support inventory management, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail with good communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to operate fork lifts and other equipment (training provided)
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands/fingers for data entry and filing. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Shift:7a-330p Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $16/hour with $50 weekly bonus for perfect attendance
