Will manage the integrity of materials and packaging inventories withina manufacturing - machine shop and assembly - environment. Duties willinclude receiving and counting stock and recording the data. Stockingshelves and pulling inventory. Will be entering data into an ERP systemand will research discrepancies. Must ensure that all material requiredfor production is on-site, organized and ready for consumption.
Essential Functions:
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processespurchasing requests as required; tracks orders and paperwork.Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count ofinventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer generatedreports.Receives, unpacks and labels product; re-stocks items as necessary;labels shelves.Will control the staging and organization of the materials.Confer regularly with team to assess the progress of production andaccuracy of inventory movements.Coordinate and manage the location of staged inventory. Assist inthe physical movement to/from locations when needed to ensureefficiency.Processes and documents return of product as required and followingestablished procedures.Maintain ISO 9001 process for inventory.Monitor and communicate with vendors relating to orders, back-ordersand fulfillment.Learn the ERP system to sufficiently perform production andinventory entries.Proactively support quality initiatives and documentationrequirements as needed.Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve;applies feedback to improve performance.Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering andinventory control in a manufacturing environment.Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.Ability to learn quickly and understand complex ERP systeminteraction. Must be able to identify the various flow of inventorythrough multiple systems and act quickly to implement corrections oridentify emerging issues.Database and time management skills.Ability to analyze and solve problems or research inventory losses.Ability to receive stock and/or deliver goods.Competencies:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk or hear. Frequently the employee will be required tostand; walk; use hands or fingers, handle or feel; and reach with handsand arms. Ability to occasionally lift inventory weighing up to 50 lbs.with frequent lifting of 20 lbs. Must be able to sit and work at acomputer for upwards of 4 hours at a time.
Education and Experience:
High school or technical school graduateTwo (2) or more years of related work experience within inventorycontrolPrevious experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environmentExperience using Epicor systems is a plusPrevious public company or small manufacturing industry workexperience preferredForklift and safety certified a plusAdditional requirements:
