JOB REQUIREMENTS: Parts Inventory Control oversees inventory operationsat their assigned dealership. Under the direction of the CorporateInventory Control Manager, they will be responsible for keeping theinventory within guidelines and assisting the corporate team with partsauditing practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in orderof priority): Research all inventory adjustments. Review and processparts returns to vendors under the direction of the Corporate InventoryControl Manager. Oversee core returns to endure they are properlyhandled. Follow Corporate direction in process development to buildconsistency among the network. Find opportunities to eliminate waste andincrease efficiencies throughout the warehouse. Make recommendations forneeded process changes within parts inventory. Audit parts locations andparts holding areas as needed. Oversee cycle count process and verifyaccuracy. Verify bins prior to physical inventory. Assist and auditphysical inventory. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regularonsite attendance. Work Environment: Office and Warehouse environment.Some daytime travel necessary. The noise level in the work environmentis usually quiet to moderate. Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability toregularly lift and /or move up to 70 pounds. Ability to make decisionsbased on logic and company protocol and procedures. Work closely and incooperation with the Corporate and dealership teams. Ability toconcentrate on several issues at the same time. Promote professionalismand pride within the workforce. Ability to frequently use hands toproperly examine parts. Education, Skills & Knowledge Required:Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year ofrelevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Management systems suchas word, outlook, and excel. Ability to read and comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simplecorrespondence. Ability to problem solve in a team environment. Abilityto work with little to no supervision daily. Must be detail oriented andstay on task.
