Description Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to keep track of goods and services and manage orders to facilitate sales or production. As the Inventory Clerk you will be signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Are you a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills? Then this is the Inventory Clerk position for you.

　　Classifying and counting items

　　Control inventory by stocking and cataloging products

　　Handling all inconsistencies in documents

　　Notice and report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

　　Spending time collaborating with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager

　　Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and scheduling shipment arrival times

　　Getting prices and estimates from vendors and then comparing costs

　　Various data entry tasks Requirements - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　Must have an understanding of the range of services and products offered by the company

　　Experience using inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets

　　High attention to detail is critical, as well as problem solving skills

　　Must have strong mathematical and analytical abilities

　　High school diploma or equivalent1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred
