Job Summary
· Provide quality and decisive supervision of intramural activities.
· Facilitate a fun, safe and welcoming environment for participants.
· Assist the Intramural Sports Supervisor with the Intramural Sports Program.
Responsibilities
· Provide quality officiating by enforcing the rules and ensuring participation in a safe manner
· Provide pre-game assistance in setting up equipment
· Assist in examining facility for safety hazards
· Assist in post-game duties
· Maintain an appropriate professional demeanor at all times
· Maintain a working knowledge of the sport’s rules and regulations
· Respond to injuries and assist in immediate first aid and proper emergency procedures
· Address potential conflicts before they escalate
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
· Current University of Utah Student
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· CPR certification required or able to complete via in house within one month
