About the role:
The Master Data Management Analyst is the global leader responsible for tactical execution of master data management improvement opportunities within Hach’s global data platform. They will assist with data quality improvement directives with the goal of helping the organization leverage data as an asset. This includes developing data lifecycle management processes and recommending best practices in data management policies and solutions.

In this role, you will:
Identify improvement opportunities for the existing data management practices and business processes.
Process and utilize continuous improvement to drive improvement projects.
Create, implement, and maintain new data management standards and processes in partnership with the data owners across the business.
Identify and train data owners and data stewards across business functions on best practices in data quality. Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to help business teams analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders.
Own and drive end-to-end process documentation on all data domains while looking for opportunities to implement best practice industry and international standards as appropriate.
You should also:
Understand Data Governance and the role of a successful MDM practice.
Provide practical advice regarding systems, applications, and implementation of processes and systems following best practices (e.g. Data Management Association standards)
Provide insights to best international and industry standards for diverse data domains, usability opportunities, and potential ROI derived from their implementation (e.g. ISIC, ISO, DUNS #, etc.)
Understand ETL/ELT/API based Integration patterns for data services and MDM.
Are you qualified?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (ex. Library and Information Science, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Science, MBA with IT or BI focus, etc.).
5+ years of professional experience.
Demonstrated mastery of MDM concepts, benefits, best practices, and challenges.
Experience leading implementation of master data management in multiple domains on a global scale.
Experience in leading and delivering projects within an agile environment.
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) (plus)
Project Management Certification (PMP).(plus)
The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 – 140,000.oo This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
