The Princess Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid (remote) summer internship opportunity designed to provide exposure and insight to professional careers in the amazing leisure travel, cruise industry. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.
2024 Program Dates (two options)
Program runs 10 weeks from June 10th - August 16th or June 17th - August 23rd.Eligibility
Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2024.

Market Planning is the strategic heartbeat of the company. Our team is responsible for ensuring Princess is the market leader in the premium cruise category. Market Planning oversees program pricing, general policies, and strategic development, prioritizing and implementing all the innovative ideas that enable us to achieve the highest performance while ensuring the best vacation experience for our guests.
This internship will provide a unique opportunity to see how vision and strategy meet, how decisions are made and prioritized, and the planning process that is needed to take vision to reality. The projects you will be working on will introduce you to competitive research, SWOT analysis, you’ll assist with developing incremental revenue initiatives, performance measurement and reporting.
Conduct in-depth research on competitors' pricing models and strategies.
Postmortem analysis on PCL program launch pricing
Analyze market trends and provide insights to support pricing decisions.
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings.
Assist in the implementation and optimization of one Ancillary Revenue project, such as PVP (Princess Vacation Protection), Air, Pre/Post Hotel, or Transfers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance ancillary revenue streams.
Analyze ship richness by trade and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop cabin mapping templates for ship class change scenarios
Review and provide recommendations to improve the pricing process for Pre/Post Hotel options.
Assist with Master Data tables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Performance tracking of annual programs.
Requirements
Proficiency using MS office Suite including Outlook & MS Teams
Ability to work independently, remotely and self-manage
Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills.
Majors Preferred
Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related fieldSkills Preferred
Strong analytical and research skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools. Power BI or Tableau a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
