As an intern in the Access to Care (A2C) team within Group Sustainability, you have the opportunity to work with an international team works passionately on multidisciplinary and cross-departmental projects around the globe – ranging from digital innovation and sustainable business models to external partnership strategy and internal engagement.
Your role:
Assist in the design and implementation of the Leader's Led Impact Activation Program, a learning and engagement initiative aimed at equipping senior leaders at Philips' businesses to drive health equity. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to shape and execute the program (incl. internal communications related to the initiative)
Drive the visibility and sharing of our “social impact” work within the company; engage with other departments (e.g. Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Human Resources) to identify and increase synergies; increase awareness through our social media channels; set up initiatives to further engage other employees & leaders.
Support our impact finance work and engagement with impact funders: identify potential impact funders, engage with them around specific projects and initiatives
Supporting in ad hoc, relevant requests related to access to care (e.g. research for strategy work etc.).
Support other Health Equity & Access project and initiatives (market research in global health and social business topics)
Synthesize results and disseminate them internally through presentations, reports, and briefs
Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Businesses, Markets, Functions, and Partners, and ensure maximum coordination of resources and effort.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Currently running your Bachelor or Master studies in studies such as Communication, (digital) Marketing, Global/Public Health, Health Economics/management, (Development) Economics, Sustainable Development, or any other relevant studies, master level preferred,
Strong writing skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Motivated, talented, hard-working, eager, independent, hands-on young individual
Relevant experience e.g. previous internship, (extra-)curricular projects, etc.) related to global health and business
Excellent knowledge in oral and written English

We are offering an internship between 6-12 months, long term is preferred
Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.

IMPORTANT:

In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
