　　The opportunity

　　Embark on a future with an international pharmaceuticals company, contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 12–weeks experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.

　　Location: West Chester, PA

　　Length: minimum of 12 weeks (May 20th- August 9th)

　　Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 12 weeks. 5 days in office is required.

　　How you’ll spend your day

　　• During the 12-week program, you will gain in-depth insight into the Drug Product Development department.

　　• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects.

　　• You will also play an important role in the development of concepts and initiatives within the Drug Product Development business unit.

　　• Design and execute formulation and process development studies for biologics.

　　• Perform testing and optimization using different analytical and biophysical techniques to support formulation development studies.

　　• Effectively collaborate with technical teams within the DPD department and different CMC functions in Teva to facilitate the development activities.

　　• Record the experimental process in electronic laboratory notebooks as per Good Documentation Practices. Generate and organize data in compliance with following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Teva SOPs, as required.

　　Your experience and qualifications

　　• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program of pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical/chemical engineering, or related discipline.

　　• Basic understanding of protein therapeutics, biologics formulation development and hands-on experience in analytical testing and assays using biophysical and biochemical characterization methods.

　　• Good communication and organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to work in a team environment.

　　• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
