Summary You will serve as a SENIOR ENV PLANNER in the ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. This is an interdisciplinary position and will be filled by one of the following job series: 0020 - Community Planner 0401 - Natural Resources Specialist 0819 - Environmental Engineer 1301 - Physical Scientist Responsibilities You will provide consistency and high-quality documentation for planning projects for all customers in the geographic area of responsibility. You will provide technical direction for all services provided by the various directorates at NAVFAC SW, Assistant Regional Engineer (ARE) staff or Public Works Team with the main focus on planning-related issues. You will establish the project scope and criteria based on general policies and directives. You will approve changes to criteria or procedures when appropriate and may deviate from traditional methods in order to accomplish assigned duties. You will evaluate architecture and engineering construction projects to recommend and implement initiatives for improvements. You will compose technical reports for management providing updates on the status of master plans. You will develop and maintain project criteria, schedules, and budgets in conformance with project and customer requirements.
