Billings School District 2 is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for Eagle Cliffs Elementary School.Schedule: 6 hours a day; Monday - Friday; 9-Months a year. (3.75 hours regular and 2.25 hours Special Education.)Required:- Must be able to work with children with special needs, challenging behaviors, and personal care needs- Pre-employment physicals are required for this position and paid for by the District.- Must have previous experience working with children.- Requires a High School graduate or equivalent.- Must be able to lift and position students with physical difficulties.- Must be flexible and able to work with many different staff members.Duties:- Implements lesson plans, behavior plans, and responding to students' special needs.- Assists students with cognitive, sensory or physical limitations.- Assists students in using adaptive equipment and assistive devices.- Helps students to integrate into regular classroom settings.Wage: $16.13 per hour for 120-day probationary period; then $17.92 per hour.Equal Opportunity Employer.
