　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　A territory sales rep will contact Ohio CAT customers to help improve POPS-C, STU growth, and E-commerce, with a core focus on maintaining accurate machine population data, fleet health, and collecting Voice Of the Customer. The standard will be to contact those customers at least 4 times a year, but customers with more potential will be contacted more often. The sales rep will contact customers in any market segment served by the heavy division. Sales rep will manage an account base of approx. 600 customers and will actively call those customers on a regular basis. The sales rep will be responsible for qualifying accounts and updating customer information, but our top priority is always to increase parts and service sales by servicing the customers.

　　JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High School Diploma/GED. Prior industry knowledge of the products along with a technical background of the products sold and serviced. Individual must be highly motivated, with superior communication and customer interaction skills along with good organizational skills. Advanced computer skills with an understanding of Cat information retrieval systems. Telephone sales experience or outside sales experience desired Proficient in MS Office applications. Must have a strong sales orientation and have a mechanical aptitude. Must have the ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and has a teamwork ethic along with exceptional knowledge of heavy equipment.

　　PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
