　　Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university, or graduate program outside of New York State.- Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program) or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program.- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent.- Must be able to work at least part-time summer (10-15 hours per week, with the opportunity to work fall and spring depending on availability); full-time summer hours preferred.Preferred Qualifications:- Preferred Major(s): Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Data Science, Project Management, or Business AnalystPlease be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees. 　　Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:As a member of NYSIF’s SQA Team, incumbents of these positions will play a key role in testing software. Duties include but are not limited to:- Assist in conducting Application Test Automation. - Assist using risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various applications, i.e., perform automated functional and regression testing. - Will assist with working with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, and other Development test objects. - Assist with creating and executing test cases- Assist with documenting and evaluate test results- Assist with detecting, logging, and reporting defects.- Assist with reviewing test procedures and develops test scripts.Basic understanding of: - Unit testing- Regression testing - Integration testing - Automated testing- Manual testing- How to effectively create a test case.
