JOB TITLE: General Machinist

　　We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Machinist to join our team. As a General Machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating industrial machining equipment to produce precision parts. Your responsibilities will include machine tear down and repair, utilizing various hand tools, and employing gauges and measuring instruments to ensure accurate results.

　　KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Operate Machining Equipment: Execute machining operations on industrial equipment to fabricate components according to specifications.Machine Tear Down and Repair: Perform machine tear down and repair activities to maintain equipment functionality and efficiency.Utilize Hand Tools: Employ various hand tools proficiently to carry out machining tasks with precision and accuracy.Measurement and Inspection: Use gauges and measuring instruments to verify the dimensions and tolerances of machined parts.Climbing and Confined Spaces: Demonstrate the ability to climb ladders and enter confined spaces as required by the position.Environmental Conditions: Work in diverse environmental conditions, including exposure to wet, humid, and extreme temperatures.Component Installation: Install and fit machined components into assemblies or larger structures.Precision Machining: Bore, ream, polish, and size large and small inside diameter holes to very close tolerances.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Knowledge of Ammunition Loading and Industry Standards:  Possess a strong understanding of ammunition loading processes and industry standards.

　　Ammunition Related Experience: Previous experience in ammunition-related tasks is a plus.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Proven experience as a General Machinist or similar role.Proficiency in operating industrial machining equipment.Strong knowledge of various hand tools and their applications.Familiarity with measuring instruments and gauges.Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including confined spaces.Excellent attention to detail and precision in machining tasks.Capacity to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks.Must pass background check and drug screening.Competitive wage and benefits with opportunities for skill development.
