　　Position Summary

　　The position is responsible for working in conjunction with the Principal Security Analyst to create, direct, maintain and enhance a comprehensive information security program to ensure integrity, confidentiality and availability of Teleflex information assets.

　　Principal Responsibilities

　　• Assist in developing, maintaining and enforcing information security policies

　　• Monitor, document and provide accurate and rapid response to security events

　　• Assist operations with secure architecture design of infrastructure and applications

　　• Perform root cause analysis of security incidents

　　• Assist with maintaining the security awareness training program

　　• Assist in maintaining data classification processes and security protocols

　　• Assist with ensuring compliance with security regulations (ex. Payment Card Industry - PCI)

　　• Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities

　　• Actively network with peers to stay current on security trends

　　Education / Experience Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Assurance or related field and/or equivalent work experience

　　One or more of the following professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, SAN (GIAC)

　　Minimum of 5 years of information technology and/or security-related experience

　　Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

　　• Knowledge of leading practice security incident management processes

　　• Experience with Microsoft Azure security products, most specifically Azure Sentinel

　　• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python environments and experience leveraging application APIs

　　• Solid understanding and working knowledge of encryption and security protocols

　　• Experience with log management and related tools

　　• Solid understanding and working knowledge of security fundamentals including network, application, end-point, mobile device, etc.

　　• Experience with executing vulnerability assessments and implementing mitigation plans

　　• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 and NIST frameworks

　　• Ability to effectively to communicate technical security concepts with non-technical stakeholders

　　• Position location is flexible based on proximity to a Teleflex facility.
