Job Description:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for contacting and establishing new referrals and qualified leads within a defined territory to meet and exceed sales and revenue goals. The primary function will be conducting sale consultations, contracts and building long lasting relationships with our referral sources for future sales growth. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and phone skills with the ability to develop a rapport with business partners and clients. The overall goal of this position is to drive sales, develop markets and create new opportunities for growth.
Pay: $20-$25/hr (depending on experience)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work within a defined territory to identify and develop potential partners/clients.
Identify and secure referral sources based on market needs and trends.
Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities and request referrals.
Actively pursue sales partnerships and contact lead sources by email, phone, and in-person with local travel.
Increase brand awareness in the marketplace, implement market growth strategies, create business development plans
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals based on LY and company standards
Provide comprehensive monthly reporting to the owner.
Support and utilize sales tools such as branded materials, social media, sales development training and webinars, and event-driven email campaigns.
Filing paperwork, answering emails, booking jobs, distributing advertising materials
Manage weekly schedule to include consults, outreach, networking meetings and follow up with potential clients and referrals.

Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or marketing with proven results.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Motivated self-starter with strong organization and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Willingness to travel - no two days are alike!
Organization skills
Able to identify needs for growth in sales
Must possess strong communication skills, (verbal and written) as well as analytical analysis abilities
Knows and is familiar with the sales process
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Constant sitting, listening and talking.
Frequent walking and/or standing.
Ability to travel throughout our territory
