Join us.We are seeking a Industrial Millwright/Industrial Mechanic/IndustrialMaintenance Technician to work in our Cudahy facility Monday-Friday oneither 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am); however, the newhire will train on 1st shift for 6 months. Our Millwrights are part of ahighly skilled team that is critical in supporting production andensuring equipment is operational in order to consistently meetproduction goals and our customers\' needs. Millwrights inspect,troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain allmechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventativemaintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions,determine the problem and implement the repair. This position requiresan understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmissionand steam systems. Qualified candidates must be able to read andinterpret drawings and blueprints proficiently and make necessarymodifications. Additional Responsibilities Inspect mill equipment,chains, belt conveyers, gear boxes/drive chains and cranes formaintenance or repair Use tools such as forklifts and barrel lifts,aerial lifts, boom trucks, drill presses, burning equipment, welding andcutting equipment, portable drills and grinders, measuring devices,laser pump alignment tools, power tools and miscellaneous hand toolsMaintain accurate records such as labor hours and important preventativemaintenance findings on work orders for creation of future job plansWork in both high places and in confined spaces Adhere to and promoteall safety policies and procedures Perform tasks such as removal,installation, alignment, leveling and coupling of rotating equipmentEnsure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory requirementsand industry best practices Assist Engineering and/or contractors withcapital project work Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Basic Qualifications 8 years of machine repair, hydraulic repair, ironworker and/or industrial maintenance/millwright experience OR a licensedJourneyman Millwright through a state indentured apprenticeship.
