Job Summary: As an Industrial Engineer reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead efforts in the analysis and evaluation of production processes to implement procedures and process optimizations that promote an efficient and quality focused manufacturing operation while collaborating with internal and external teams. Essential Job Responsibilities: Utilize lean process design techniques to optimize manufacturing system performance by providing innovative solutions that integrate within the value stream. Analyze and implement improvements to procedures, equipment, and layouts that impact business objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Assess current and future capacity requirements by utilizing forecast data, value stream mapping, and capacity planning methodologies. Develop and maintain labor standards through the utilization of a scientific approach to time studies. Lead the development of sequence of operations, standardized work, work instructions, and layouts for new and existing products. Optimize work cell designs for human factors. Ensure accurate maintenance of Routings and Bill of Materials within the corporate ERP system. Implement effective material flow concepts and pull systems while maintaining required material control. Develop and manage prioritized roadmap of productivity improvements based on costing analysis and other factors. Act as a lean leader and change advocate with the ability to confidently communicate technical information. Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs. Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering or othertechnical area At least three years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Proven experience in collaborating with and influencing cross functional groups across the business Experience with change management strategies Preferred Job Qualifications: Advanced training and certification in lean/six sigma Experience working within an Oracle ERP environment Travel Requirement: Less than 5% Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
