We have an exciting opportunity for an IDM-Developer who will be responsible for building the reporting infrastructure using Business Objects ensuring local reporting requirements are met and in line with the overall objectives of IDM-Development internationally.
Summary of role:
Work closely with the New York IDM Development regional head and local stakeholders so that requirements align to international frameworkReport and Universe development in Business Objects 4;Translating Risk and Finance reporting and MI requirements into productionized reports.Define and manage report scheduling and manage production releases.Deliver and facilitate ad-hoc MI and reportingIn partnership with IT, optimize the Business Objects infrastructure, and define the data model and processing

Essential:
Experienced Business Objects Universe designer and Report developerExperience of Business Objects CMCDetailed understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language)
Desirable:
Investment banking experience supporting Risk or Finance functionsPractical / working knowledge of the issues / challenges associated with managing data; data quality, data processing, data mining, data storage / warehousingExperience of Business Objects Lumira and Live OfficeUnderstanding and practical use of MS Office applications primarily MS Access and MS Excel, ideally including VBAA self-starter who can work autonomously with a good track record of deliveryA structured and flexible approach, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the Banking industryGreat written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate and partner across the firmStrong team player with a professional approachAbility to manage large workloads and tight deadlines with flexibility to adapt to urgent tasks as well as undertaking longer-term solutions
The typical base pay range for this role is between $115K - $140K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
