MSD is looking for an HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team!
The HVAC/R Service Technician performs a variety of service activities at client locations on Commercial HVAC/R related equipment. The HVAC/R Service Technician specializes in HVAC/R equipment and can diagnose and repair various problems. The HVAC/R Service Technician's focus on client care ensures the client is afforded the best possible options and service at all times.
Key Job Duties:
Client Care - ensuring customer satisfaction with the beginning, middle, and ending productDiagnose and repair client equipment concernsConduct Point-of-Sale work for quotes of service i.e., unit replacements, add-on services, etc.Submit detailed paperwork for each job conducted with all appropriate information completeCoordinate with Service Dispatch to determine appropriate order of assigned callsMaintain technical proficiency by attending classes/training/etc., as necessaryComplete quality control inspections of installations/service contractsRequest replacement parts, supplies from appropriate personnelPerform special/complicated procedures/repairs indepdently Maintain "On-Call" eligibility in accordance with company policies and proceduresMake every reasonable effort to ensure safe practices and get every employee home safelyCandidate Requirements:
3+ years of field experience in HVAC/R Experience with supermarket or grocery store refrigeration experience a plus Industrial, commercial, and/or institutional HVAC/R experienceDetailed understanding of Commercial HVAC/R technologiesHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required Valid, unencumbered US Driver's licensePossess basic HVAC/Refrigeration toolsUS Citizenship or Permanent Resident status requiredStrong communication skillsBenefits:
