A growing client is working with Robert Half to hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. The salary range will be $65,000 - $80,000 DOE with FANTASTIC benefits and the ability to be a major part of the executive team!

Your responsibilities in this role
Build up the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Oversee human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Participate in interdepartmental meetings with other managers
Analyze compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
Catalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
Establish management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
Monitor reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Support employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
Define recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
Organize exit interviews and procedures
Requirements - Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards
Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
5+ years in human resources
Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Ability to view issues with impartiality
Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field
Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
