Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Manager in Columbus, Ohio. This role is focused on managing and collaborating on all human resource milestones throughout the employee life cycle. You will be working closely with the management team on hiring, onboarding, evaluating, and terminating agency staff. You will also be providing support on human resource policy development and maintenance. This role requires a strong background in HR and payroll experience.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage and collaborate on all human resource milestones in the employee life cycle
• Provide support to the Executive Director and Associate Director on human resource policy development and maintenance
• Handle hiring, onboarding, evaluating, and terminating agency staff
• Maintain accurate payroll records and manage payroll processing using Paylocity
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Manage employee relations and resolve any issues that may arise
• Oversee compensation administration to ensure fairness and equity
• Handle benefit functions including overseeing open enrollment
• Manage talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent
• Oversee employee performance management to ensure employees are meeting their goals and objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources managerial role
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Knowledge of Ceridian, HRMS, About Time
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Proven track record in Compliance and Employee Relations
• Experience with Paylocity and ADP - Payroll
• Expertise in Talent Acquisition and Compliance Management
• Experience in Employee performance management
• Experience in managing Open Enrollment in organizations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
