Description We are offering an opportunity for an individual to fill the role of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Uniontown, Alabama. The primary function of this role will be to offer support in the HR department, focusing on various HR-related tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with onboarding and new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees

• Support the administration of compensation and benefit functions within the organization

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations

• Foster strong employee relations and act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries

• Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures

• Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars

• Collaborate with the HR team in developing efficient documentation and reporting procedures

• Provide support in maintaining HR records, including attendance records, terminations, transfers, and promotions. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources or related field

• Proficiency in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Thorough understanding of Compliance regulations within the HR field

• Proven experience in handling Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Onboarding processes and New Hire Orientations

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
