Robinson Construction is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter
The Human Resources Generalist will focus on the administrative duties of the department supporting all Human Resource functions within the department, this position will also have a strong emphasis on full cycle recruiting of field personnel ensuring all staffing needs are met in a timely manner

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Consults with HR Manager to determine daily recruitment needs to ensure all staffing requests are met in a timely manner
• Evaluates and understands job requirements and skill set required for each job site
• Sources and recruits candidates by using applicant tracking system, online job boards, and social media
• Determines applicant’s skill level, work history, and experience by phone interviewing, documenting responses, and reference checking to analyze and compare candidate qualifications, to job requirements
• Presents employment offers, communicating company expectations and job site requirements to all new hires
• Schedules new hire employee orientation, and notifies appropriate parties of incoming new hires
• Responds to applicant and employee inquiries via email or phone
• Ensures the applicant tracking system is up to date, accurate, and utilized to ensure equal employment and affirmative action purposes
• Follows the hiring procedures policy in all aspects of recruiting function
• Administers onboarding of newly hired employees in ATS, assigning and tracking progress
• Assists HR Generalist as needed with new hire and subcontractor site-specific training enrollment and/or data entry
• Assists in preparing new hire personnel files, filing papers and documents appropriately
• Assists with new hire employee onboarding, orientations, completing required paperwork, and SA Testing.
• Assist Human Resources Manager with weekly coordination of current workforce job site assignments and reassignments
• May perform a variety of duties to support all positions in the Human Resources Department
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred
• Two or more years of experience working in a similar position preferred
• Previous experience using MS Office required
• PHR or SHRM - CP Certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and be able to improve performance through management feedback.
• Ability to work successfully as a team and independently with moderate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Experience with applicant tracking system, and HRIS strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to hear, comprehend and speak
• Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to work with standard office equipment
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
OTHER:
• Overtime may be required
• Holiday and weekend work may be required
