JOB REQUIREMENTS: Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invitesapplications for a full-time Assistant Director of Faculty Developmentto join our Academics department as part of the CREATE(Community-focused Real-world Engagement in Academics ThroughExperiential-learning) Institute at MSOE. The CREATE Institute focuseson faculty, student, and community programming to ensure that all MSOEgraduates embody the MSOE Mindset. Under the direction of the Directorof the CREATE Institute, the Assistant Director of Faculty Developmentis responsible for strengthening and implementing a comprehensivefaculty development program, which includes onboarding, mentoring,continuing education programming, and Community of Practice workinggroups for both full-time and part-time faculty. Essential Duties andResponsibilities Support the success of the Common LearningOutcome/Mindset Integration Grant through faculty developmentprogramming and quality assurance of faculty deliverables Continuouslyimprove and facilitate on-boarding program for new faculty Continuouslyimprove and facilitate mentoring program for new faculty Continuouslyimprove, manage, and facilitate various Communities of Practice forfaculty Continuously improve and facilitate comprehensive facultydevelopment workshop series for both new and existing faculty Manageexternal consultants as needed to contribute to comprehensive facultydevelopment programming Provide leadership and resources to help facultyleverage industry partnerships to effectively use real-worldexperiential learning and Entrepreneurial Minded Learning pedagogyIdentify and organize online resources, webinars, conferences, andworkshops to share with faculty via an online platform and newsletterOther Duties & Responsibilities Support the CREATE Team in continuouslyimproving, facilitating, and assessing a high-impact learning programinto all four years of MSOE\'s undergraduate curriculum Support theCREATE Team in continuously improving, facilitating, and assessingorientation week activities for students, staff, and faculty, whichsupport fostering the growth of the MSOE Mindset Travel to conferences,workshops, and exemplar programs to gain insight into best practices andleverage existing resources (approximately two trips per year) Supportthe Associate Vice President of Academic Success and InstitutionalEffectiveness in efforts to assess institutional metrics Serve onvarious institutional committees, task groups, councils, boards, andteams as a representative of the CREATE Institute as needed Workcollaboratively with all university personnel to promote CREATEInstitute programming and MSOE\'s shared purpose (mission, vision,values, and mindset) Other duties as assigned by the Executive VP ofAcademics and/or Director of the CREATE Institute This above list ofduties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded toinclude other duties and...
