JOB SUMMARY
This position is expected to be a duration of approximately 12 months.
The HR Consultant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Aurora, IL manufacturing facility and working with the HR leadership team, in all facets of human resources including employee relations, talent management, onboarding, driving a positive employee culture, change management and communication, and employee development. This Consultant will also be the owner of Learning and Development initiatives across all North America sites for Adare and will coordinate with our European HR team on Global Executive Development Initiatives, including strategic leadership development, as well as compliance related trainings. The HR Consultant demonstrates a high-level of integrity, a strong depth of knowledge of human resources policies and practices, and a pro-active approach to business partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides HR guidance to assigned client managers and employees.
Serve as the main point of onsite contact for HR; fields HR questions, address and handle employee relations issues, and remediate any HR compliance issues.
Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing leadership on Talent Management for the Aurora site; provide input on staffing needs or adjustments based on work demands and skills required.
Oversee and handle onboarding for new employees; ensure all resources are available and functional for training.
Consistently communicate relevant events, risks, and site needs with other Operations and Quality offsite stakeholders and HR team members; recommend and carry out steps to remediate.
Perform terminations with Hiring Managers, when necessary
Take ownership of building a Learning and Development framework for Adare’s US workforce; build out a roadmap to develop leadership capabilities and identify training needs to meet compliance requirements.
Support Adare's DEI program initiatives; provide a framework outline for events and trainings, research costs for any recommended third-party support, participate in the design and evaluation of KPI's.
Assists in the development, implementation, and communication of Human Resources policy and procedures.
Assure that documentation is added to the site employees’ HR files by coordinating with offsite Corporate HR
Participates and contributes to various project teams and participates in special projects.
Requirements
8+ years’ experience in a HRBP or Generalist capacity, preferably in a GMP manufacturing environment
Maintains a current knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements impacting the Human Resource Department
Working experience developing and deploying effective employee learning and development programs
Demonstrable experience working through employee relations issues
Knowledge of talent management, organizational effectiveness (organizational development a plus), performance management, compensation, benefits, staffing, employment laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a compelling way; and communicate with tact and diplomacy when dealing with employees on confidential matters.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
