This position provides Tier 1 support for all Human Resources inquiries involving benefits, leaves of absence, long term incentive programs, performance management and acts as the subject matter expert in the employee use of our HRMS, Workday. This position partners with the Corporate HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise and Staffing DAC/DOS members to strategically retain talent and provide the best employee experience.
Respond professionally and diplomatically with high energy and accuracy with a positive attitude, and in a timely manner, to new hire, current and former employee inquiries for information and changes to employee policies, benefits, stock, 401K and Deferred Compensation, leave of absence and general HR matters. Review of various factors and exercise sound judgment in developing solutions and recommendations. Take accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure.
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
Responds to escalated calls and inquiries referred by HR Business Partners regarding Leave of Absences; details from calls that could tie to internal investigations; reporting metrics; request to call back an employee as directed by the HRBP to walk the employee through basic benefits policy and handbook information.
Act as the subject matter expert in the use of the HRMS, Workday. Instruct/train employees how to use the system including teaching managers to perform employee transactions and utilize the compensation module.
Perform a variety of daily human resources operation tasks and work with other departments to resolve matters.
Works closely with North America corporate, field and Protiviti teams to manage employee data changes in Workday.
Communicate effectively with employees and leaders to process worker changes.
Work under minimal supervision and follow established guidelines in an environment with competing priorities.
Organize, manage, and execute a wide variety of HR services and/or processes related to the operations of the HR Solutions Center.
Serve as primary point of contact to oversee the effective execution of HR Solutions Center services and specialized HR activities.
Utilize professional concepts to solve problems of moderate scope as well as escalated issues.
Use discretion and sound judgment to communicate and escalate potential issues to the HR Compliance department managers, Benefits and LTI managers and LOA administrator and HRBP's.
Represent Robert Half and the HR Department by exhibiting a calm, welcoming, and friendly presence for all new hires, employees, leaders and visitors.
Develop working rapport with the HR community while demonstrating excellent communications skills to further strengthen the perception of the HR Solutions Center with a variety of stakeholders and constituents.
Apply knowledge of program objectives as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills to further develop the quality of consistency of services.
Knowledgeable of all aspects of HR functions and can explain and / or help employees with their requests or needs.
Key point of contact to resolve incoming inquiries. Expectation is that all inquiries will either be resolved by this role or referred to an SME for specific, detailed situations that call for additional help.
