About HR Leader - Czech Republic

  HR Manager in Edwards LifeSciences is functioning as an expert on people and organizational issues, as well as a catalyst in delivering HR solutions to support the specific needs of the business groups and overall business objectives.

  Czech language skills are required for this role.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with COE's and external stakeholders to deliver human resource programs for client groups to ensure the organization's current and future HR requirements are met (e.g., recruitment; onboarding, training, development; compensation/remuneration; benefits; performance evaluation; organizational development; relocation; equal employment; health, safety and employee wellness; HR administration; HR information systems; monthly payroll; headcount).

  • Lead and participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned countries and partner with compensation to drive competitive offers

  • Apply and implement global/regional policies for their country/countries human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.

  • Perform front line HR duties for assigned country(ies) including performing complex investigation, handling non-routine employee issues, performing complex compensation analysis, interpreting and advising management

  • Partner with HR Management or COE's to evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to remain locally compliant and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.

  • Consult, advise, influence and partner with country leadership on talent strategies and actions to build an engaged and high-performing organization

  • Identify training needs within the country and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training and coaching programs to ensure success.

  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the client group(s) business, financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

  • Other incidental duties

  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in in related field , 10 years years experience of previous related human resources experience Required or

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field , 8 years years experience of previous related human resources experience Required

  Additional Skills:

  • Proven success leading country level projects and driving adoption of local/regional/global projects

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources systems

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including influencing, consultative, and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Fluent in English required; additional European languages preferred

  • Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth within the organization

  • Expert understanding of related aspects of human resources processes and/or systems

  • Expert knowledge of country employment laws and awareness of ongoing changes in the labor and business market

  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence change

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while establishing a positive reputation

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Represents leadership on projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and human resources team

  • Consult in project setting within specific human resources area

  • Provides human resources leadership to outsourcing partners on a task level

  • Strong relationship with country leader and able to balance the needs of the BU, Region, and Global EW

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
