A bachelor degree/ Master's Degree or equivalent in statistics, computer science, data science, epidemiology, bioinformatics, life science, health economics, health policy, or related fieldExperience with managing, analyzing, documenting, observational, RWD, medical records or health insurance claimsCorporate experience in multinational healthcare industriesExperience from pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, or a medical/biological area.Proven expertise in classical statistical methods and programming skills

Essential Job Functions
Data mine from various sources to identify areas of opportunity for EW products and procedures. Expand the internal knowledge of the structure of existing open access databases available from different countries for in-patient and outpatient setting and organize them internally for an easy access.Create a library of diagnosis/procedure/DRG codes of interest for each Edwards BUs.Identify areas of evidence development to support product claims (e.g., reduce cost, on disease natural history, incidence/prevalence, comorbidities, treatment patterns, hospital mortality, status at discharge, length of stay) and document them using RWD. Work actively with the GHER team in charge of the US platform.Assist in the elaboration of the strategy to grow the topic of RWE practice across Europe. Collaborate with the Regional Center of Excellence to drive quality and accuracy of RWE deliverables.Built a close interaction with BU PA leaders and Medical and Clinical Affairs within BU to secure an early RWE strategy in support of Market Access.Managing the processing and curation on non-Edwards sources RWD including claims, registries, EHR, with the goal of supporting diverse analysis across PA. Being the key user account for future RWD platforms the PA team is going to purchase. Raise awareness and educate the PA teams in the use and potential that the data offer to the business.Support the strategic direction of the BU by curating the right type of data.Support the development of economic tools, cost effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, and cost benefit by using RWD.Identify and develop internal processes to optimize efficiencies in RWE generation.
