Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a HR Generalist located in Sacramento, California. The role primarily involves managing daily operations and administration of HR policies, procedures and programs in our dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees on all HR-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations by implementing and managing HR policies and procedures.
• Organize and conduct employee onboarding and maintain records meticulously.
• Assist in the formulation and execution of human resource policies.
• Provide support to the management in handling disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Oversee and manage recruitment processes, employee orientation, development, and training.
• Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Coordinate and oversee tasks related to HR compliance and employee relations.
• Manage aspects of Human Resources (HR) Administration and Benefits Coordination.
• Handle functions related to employee benefits and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of Benefit Functions including plan administration and employee guidance
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Proven experience in Employee Relations, with the ability to advise and resolve conflicts
• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures
• Familiarity with HR Compliance, ensuring all policies and procedures are in line with current laws and regulations
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
• Ability to coordinate Benefits and explain them to employees in a clear and concise manner.
