Description
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our client's team in the financial services industry based in greater Worcester. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and FMLA administration. You will focus on delivering exceptional HR services and maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the recruitment process including posting positions, screening resumes, and coordinating the interview process with hiring managers.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.
• Assist in performance management processes, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and goal setting.
• Work closely with managers and employees to establish clear performance expectations and objectives.
• Utilize HRIS (Paylocity) to compile and analyze HR metrics and data.
• Manage FMLA paperwork and communications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance and questions.
• Utilize skills in Employee Relations, Corporate Recruiting, Onboarding, HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems, FMLA, Performance Management.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably within the Financial Services industry.
• Proven experience in Employee Relations.
• Prior experience in Corporate Recruiting is essential.
• Proficiency in managing Onboarding processes.
• Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems is required.
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations and application.
• Experience in implementing and managing Performance Management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
