  This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).Upper Ohio Valley37.5

  Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two years of project management experience; or a minimum of four years of project management experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.Track record of independently managing multiple projects.

  SUMMARY:In this position you will be responsible for managing technology projects and efforts for the IT Department. This primarily includes projects and efforts that are outside the scope of the Project Management Organization (PMO) but may require coordinating duties on specific efforts on behalf of the IT Department. These efforts may be self-contained within the IT Department or may include coordination with other departments outside of IT. This role will lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects in parallel. You will also provide status updates to management, highlighting any projects that are jeopardy of falling behind schedule and present options to maintain targeted delivery timelines.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Includes the following, other duties may be assigned.Creates and maintain project plans based on the scope of the effort.Leads project meetings and works with IT resources to determine steps applicable to completion of project.Assembles and leads project teams.Identifies and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.Provides leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.Ensures that project goals are in line with business objectives.Directs and coordinates the activities of project personnel to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget.Tracks project status through Microsoft Project or other project management tools.Creates and maintains project reports for IT management.Maintains a list of top priority efforts across the IT department.Maintains communication with project team members and stakeholders.Resolves project issues to eliminate potential delays to deliver a finished projects on time and within budget.Completes post project analysis.Manages a combination of low, moderate, and high complexity projects.Manages multiple projects simultaneously.Maintains proper documentation and ensures weekly updates are completed for every effort.

  OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.A technical background or experience managing technical projects/efforts is a plusAbility to multitask.Proficient in Microsoft Office products which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Ability to learn MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and web-based software applications.Ability to effectively use technological resourc s for meetings.Working toward or obtained a PMP certification preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
