Robert Half is currently recruiting for an established company in Fort Myers that has an immediate need to hire a Human Resource Generalist to come aboard their team. The HR Generalist is responsible for completing a wide variety of assignments to support critical operations of the HR department. Main assignments will involve recruiting, comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, employee relations, and assisting with new hire orientations. Your responsibilities in this role
Recruit for positions at multiple locations, attend job fairs, and work closely with line managers to schedule interviews
Build a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
Create employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
Shape onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Employ HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration
Craft official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances
Partner with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities
Analyze employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly
Design a system for storing physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records

Requirements
3+ years of human resources experience
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence and interact at all levels across the organization
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
