Full Time 37.5 hour Position Mondaythrough Friday 2:30p to 10:30p SUMMARY: First impressions areeverything. As a Housekeeping Associate you will have the opportunity tocreate lasting memories for residents, guests and staff. HousekeepingAssociates may work in any location within the Loomis Communities. Theyprovide a clean safe and healthy environment while providing excellentcustomer service. Promotes teamwork with a positive attitude. Thisindividual strives to provide the highest quality of services. Theposition maintains and keeps an orderly condition by following theestablished policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs jobfunctions in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of theLoomis Communities. Adheres to The Loomis Communities Compliance andEthics Program. Demonstrates an awareness of, a respect for andattention to the diversity of the people with whom they interact(persons served, personnel, families/caregivers, and other stakeholders)that is reflected in attitudes, behavior and services. Performshousekeeping functions in accordance with the seven step cleaningprocess to provide the highest quality cleaning services in all areas.This position may require floor, carpet, and upholstery cleaning inhallways or common areas, as well as room set ups, laundry services andany other assigned tasks. Maintains housekeeping equipment and storagerooms in a safe, clean, orderly manner. Manage Loomis Community\'sequipment resources in a responsible manner, reports any equipmentconcerns to supervisor. Required to properly and safely use cleaningchemicals per manufacturer and Loomis standards. Ability to workindependently with minimal supervision, always striving to exceedresident * expectations while following current policies andprocedures. Attends department and mandatory community meetings andcompletes required training. Complies with all CARF/CCAC guidelines andstandards. Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and localrequirements related to all assigned work. QUALIFICATIONS: PreferredEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Experience: 1year Skills/Compentencies: Ability to apply common sense understandingto carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables instandardized situations. Ability to read, write, and speak English.Ability to relate well to all residents, including the emotionallyupset, those with impaired communication ability and those dealing withemergency situations. Ability to utilize excellent critical thinking anddecision making skills. Ability to deal effectively with personnel,residents, family members, visitors and the public. Ability to report towork regularly and promptly. Ability to work beyond normal hours whennecessary.
