Job Description Summary:

　　The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties as applicable to the assigned area(s) procedures and protocol.

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred.

　　Proficiency in the English language required. Possess ability to follow written and oral instructions required.

　　Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population required.

　　Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages preferred.

　　Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices preferred.

　　Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

　　CPR may be required per assigned area(s).

　　To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position:

　　Current Driver’s License required.

　　Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).

　　In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business:

　　State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

　　Job Specific Duties:

　　Prioritizes job functions to maintain proper workflow.

　　Identifies the need and performs duties without specific direction.

　　Exhibits working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s). Maintains equipment and resources appropriately and safely.

　　Exhibits working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to assigned area(s).

　　Follows confidentiality and safeguards for all patient and/or customer related information.

　　Responds to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).

　　Performs job duties efficiently and per department procedure, protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations, for assigned area(s).

　　Stocks assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).

Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Not all of the duties may be assigned to a position.

　　Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

　　Evening Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

　　Schedule:

　　Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
