TheHouse Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive andinclusive environment, ensuring the well-being and quality of life forresidents.
Responsibilities:
Residential Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate dailyactivities within the group home, ensuring a safe and nurturingenvironment for residents. Oversee housekeeping, meal planning, anddaily schedules to promote a structured and comfortable livingexperience.
Staff Leadership and Training: Provide leadership to direct supportstaff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff competency insupporting individuals with IDD and Autism.
Individualized Care Planning: Collaborate with healthcare professionalsto develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustmentsas needed to meet evolving needs.
Behavioral Support and Crisis Management: Implement behavioral supportstrategies in collaboration with behavioral specialists to enhance thequality of life for residents. Manage crisis situations calmly andeffectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
Communication and Collaboration: Establish effective communicationchannels with residents, their families, and external support networks.Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and communityresources to enhance the overall care and support system.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance assessments tomaintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Implementcontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality ofcare and services.
