MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma.
RESPONSIBILITIES - The Hourly Project Assistant II will assist with a research study of prostate cancer in African American men. Tasks will include contacting patients by telephone to invite them to participate in the study or to answer questions about the study, updating a Microsoft Access study database, and assisting with other study-related tasks as needed.
DETAILS OF EMPLOYMENT - 15-20 hours/week for approximately one year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or current undergraduate or graduate student. Public health coursework or work experience. Experience working with Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access. Excellent oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
Hourly, grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. If telecommuting is available, the incumbent will be required to have a telephone/mobile device, and internet access.
