A Housekeeper is primarily responsible formaintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways and public areasin the hotel servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotelprocedures stocking carts with room supplies and replacing bed linensand replenishing guest room supplies while following company standardsand safety/security procedures. In some instances this role would alsobe responsible for conducting \"deep cleaning\" activities within theguest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES: \ Approach all encounters with guests and employeesin a friendly service-oriented manner. \ Maintain regular attendance incompliance with hotel standards as required by scheduling which willvary according to the needs of the hotel. \ Maintain high standards ofpersonal appearance and grooming which include wearing the properuniform and name tag when working (per brand standards). \ Comply atall times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe andefficient hotel operations. \ Thoroughly clean and restock the requirednumber of guest rooms per shift. \ Complete all pre-cleaning dutiesincluding but not limited to guest supplies cleaning supplies and linenfor housekeeping cart set-up. \ Remove all trash and dirty linen fromguest rooms. \ Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisoror manager. QUALIFICATIONS: \ High School diploma or equivalent and/orexperience in a hotel or a related field preferred. \ This positionrequires strong attention to detail and the ability to communicateeffectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form. \Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. \ Must be able toevaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly andaccurately. \ Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
