Draw on experience/knowledge with Bash, Python, Groovy and JavaScript, understanding of systems and software development lifecycle (SLDC), source code management, software configuration management, static analysis and software packaging, Linux, version control, CI/CD and cross-platform scripting languages, and Container Orchestration Platforms such as Kubernetes to build browser-based user interfaces. Boost the productivity of Motional's autonomous vehicle software developers and scientists to achieve the greatest business value possible. Develop tools and processes to aid software development using html/javascript frameworks like VUE and Python Flask/Django. Establish and maintain continuous integration (CI) pipelines. Establish metrics like key performance indicators of the software development process. Develop software tools for monitoring and visualization. Troubleshoot and resolve build and software development issues. Work with software engineers to design and develop custom software packages. Improve the performance, and reliability of Motional's software infrastructure. Create, update, test and deploy automation-bots to ensure pre-checks before initiating code merge. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and resolve them. Maintain and upgrade production systems. May telecommute from any US location. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, or a closely related technology/engineering field plus 2 years of industry experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill sets described above.
