　　Animal Technician

　　To assist in the day to day welfare and maintenance of animal colonies within a production Isolator area, to include, colony management, husbandry and animal order processing (will also include occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work on a rota system).

　　Demonstrate strict compliance with bio-security, Home Office, AAALAC and Production processes/guidelines identifying and initiating own training/retraining where required.

　　Salary from £19,838.00 / £10.90 p/h DOE

　　Rota -

　　Two shifts available

　　Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

　　Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

　　or

　　Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4pm

　　Sunday-5 hours

　　Education/Ability

　　3 GCSE at level C or equivalent

　　Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

　　Accuracy and attention to detail.

　　Ability to communicate clearly with other members of the team.

　　Good personal organisation.

　　Ability to follow detailed instructions.

　　Numeracy.

　　Commitment to excellence.

　　Ability to work under strict hygiene conditions.
